Those were some tricky hurdles Harpers made me jump to steal a hard copy of Lethem's gift. But now I have it, and I intend to pass it along.

An expanded version of that quote, "Good writers borrow. Great writers steal."
One of my professors stole that quote and used it in a workshop all the time. Funny, I can't remember who . . .
